The 2018 Marvel Studios’ film: “Black Panther” is coming out with a sequel on November 11th, titled “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

This movie has been popular ever since it first came out in February 2018. It starred Chadwick Boseman, also known as T’Challa, heir to the hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda, who must step forward to lead his people into a new future and must confront a challenger from his country’s past.

“Black Panther is something that everyone has watched and loved,” junior Allyssa Milian explained. “Even though it hasn’t been around for that long, it has been ingrained into everyone’s memories for quite some time.”

It’s a loving yet heartbreaking story that hurts many people, even more, knowing that Chadwick Boseman passed away from a silent battle with colon cancer two years ago. The new movie directs the storyline that way as well. There will always be something, or someone missing from this franchise.

Some people thought that T’Challa would be recast like a lot of movies and tv shows we see nowadays. However, this was not the case for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

The company Marvel Studios stated: “Honoring Chadwick Boseman’s legacy & portrayal of T’Challa, we will explore the world of Wakanda and the rich characters introduced in the first film.” There will be no main character when talking about this new movie since the company wanted to leave this important role to only one person ever. Throughout the duration of the film, the characters each have different arcs and narratives that fit with the overall conflict of the movie.

The new movie’s antagonist will be played by Tenoch Huerta, who will play a Sub-Mariner named Namor. He has aquatic powers and can talk to sea creatures.

There is one key detail in the storyline of any Black Panther media, which is passing down the mantle of being the Black Panther. The only next in line would be T’Challa’s sister: Shuri. So, that might be another thing to look forward to during this upcoming movie.

The movie will be coming out on November 11th and will be shown in theaters. Later, it will air on Disney Plus in an estimated slate for the upcoming holiday season.
