Jaden Torres, Sophia Herrera and Allyssa Milian, newspaper’s editors, do a lot for our class. Here is a token of appreciation for them!
Hayyyy gang!!! Allyssa Millian is in charge of the day to day operations in the class. She is the voice of all the editors. From discussing our assignments to scheduling socials, she does a lot. She does a good job of communicating to the class about everything we have planned.
“Hey guys, it’s Allyssa from newspaper and I love this class/club so much. I am the co-editor in chief, and I believe I run it pretty well and do such an amazing job. I work a lot.” Says Allyssa Millian, co-editor in chief.
“We have a diverse mix of kids that are a lil’ different, but we embrace that and we accept everyone. If you guys are looking to join the newspaper, come down to Noah and help him out. I love this club.”
Next up, on a more quiet note. Our other editor in chief, Sophia Herrera. Sophia doesn’t speak much, but she is a great editor. She is in charge of all the writing related business’ in the class. She grades and edits the rough drafts, and does a great job doing it.
“I’ve always liked writing, and I’m glad that through newspaper I can help fuel our student’s passions for writing, or help those who aren’t fans of writing learn to use their skills,” said Sophia. “I’ve noticed a big positive change in everyone’s writing compared to how they wrote at the beginning of the year, and it’s really motivating to continue putting in all this hard work because I know this is just the beginning for our club/class.”
And finally, Jaden Torres. Jaden edits the final drafts and posts the articles on our website. www.cghstheprowl.com. He also may have the most important job of the editors, making sure all of the articles meet publishing criteria. Without Jaden none of the articles would be official.
“Being a part of this class/club has been an amazing 4 years and I am really glad that I am able to be one of the editors. Editing and posting the articles onto our site has been a challenge but I am getting more used to it and I am so glad to see the progression some of these students have made.” Said Jaden. “Being an Editor is a lot of work but it definitely is worth the time and energy that we all put in.”
