Mrs. Raff has been working at Coral Glades High School for two years and this year she feels a connection with the seniors, this year it’s his second full year, and she helps the students to prepare for their future when they leave school.
We did an interview with her so she could explain to us what she does here at Coral Glades High.
“The importance of my job is to prepare each student in our school for a secondary plan. My job too is to make sure the dates are ready for testing to make sure that the students have all the tools and resources necessary. Also providing scholarships to make the paying of college easier and also one of the most important things it helps the student to find the right place for them to study.” says Mrs.Raff.
She thinks it all starts for them in the 9th grade year getting themselves prepared, showing growth, and challenging themselves with honor classes, not just taking classes like regular classes, they could do better and take AP classes or honors.
She would tell to the students that couldn’t reach the goal of going to a university it’s that it doesn’t matter when you started its when you finish, there is hope for everybody, not every student is gonna go to a top university since the beginning, they can first do two years of college and after do the others 2 years in a university, since junior year, so if they really put the effort they will do it.
She is always at the office, you can talk with her if you want to know about some universities or college applications, she is always going to help you and give you advice about your future and what university you want to go to.
