Grad Bash is a one-night event that seniors can enjoy with their friends if they choose to go. This activity lets students have unlimited access to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, both of which will be closed to the public.

There will be a live DJ, music to enjoy, food, attractions, and more, all for seniors to enjoy on their last trip and final event of the year.

Of course, there will be things that the seniors will be able to enjoy other than the parks themselves like the food, entertainment, and all the gift shops throughout. The most exciting part of all is the experience of staying overnight at the park.

Having an overnight trip with your friends and most of your favorite teachers has gotten these upperclassmen full of excitement. The bus ride to Orlando for four hours and the planning of the outfits all add to the enjoyment.

On the other hand, people like Kevin Deas, a senior, say, “I’m not going because I don’t want to waste my money and I could do that at any time, with my friends and family.”

Some say Grad Bash should be extended beyond just seniors and include more people. This is because of the number of schools with low demand to go to Grad Bash with just seniors.

Some people feel as if they should give them out to at least juniors to let them experience being with their friends one last time to have some fun and get away- and after all, they are upperclassmen as well.

But at the end of the day, the seniors are going to get to experience something thrilling and not school-related with any parents one last time.

As exciting as grad bash is, teens need to make sure they don’t exhaust themselves and just have fun. Walking around between two parks and covering that much ground is not easy.

Having the correct shoes and proper hydration is also good for you as dehydration is not a good thing. Also, having money with you and being stable enough to buy yourself some food and things you would like to get.

It’s sad to go on one final trip, but it’s exciting and will be worth it!
