Die with a Smile is the name of the single that has been recently trending on social media these past weeks. It was released a month ago on August 16th, four minutes long, through Interscope records. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars performed their new release live hours after it started streaming, at the arena Intuit Dome in Inglewood. They performed on a retro stage with a guitar and keys while making a statement with their outstanding color-coordinating outfits.
This single is the first release both Gaga and Mars have dropped in almost three years. Many people are in love with this first collaboration of Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. This soft rock ballad is a declaration of love expressing how two people mean so much to each other that they would want to die together. “I never would have expected Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga to collaborate together, so I’m glad the song turned out to be such a success.” Melanie Lemus, a freshman said.
Their collaboration came along when Lady Gaga started working with Bruno Mars after she heard what he was working on one night. “It was around midnight when I got there, and I was blown away when I heard what he had started making. We stayed up all night and finished writing and recording the song.”, said Lady Gaga in a press statement.
Bruno Mars also said “Getting to work with Gaga has been an honor. She’s an icon and she makes this song magical. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it.” They are both incredibly talented artists who were very smart to create this soul-bearing single. Many are waiting to see if they will join together for another amazing collaboration and add to their success.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are recognized for their work in the music industry. Gaga has achieved five number 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as six number 1 hits on the Billboard 200. She has won 13 Grammys and was also named Woman of the Year at Billboard Women in Music 2015.

Both Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are two artists out of the many who bring different varieties of modern music to life in many different creative ways. Even when it stops trending like every song eventually, Die with a Smile is a single that will always come to mind when someone thinks of an amazing hit song by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.
