Sebastian is a person of creativity and passion. He can be the most detailed person as well as a minimalist.

Starting in Ohio, Sebastian found his love for art and pursued it for 7 years, to the present day. While he had his struggles and hardships over the years, he stayed strong for it.

When he was 7 years old, he used social media. It became a part of him through his struggles and hardships of being exposed at a young age to threats he didn’t know. While it made him stronger, it also heavily impacted him as a person, for the light and dark.

Through social media, he bonded with many lifelong friends, and like-minded individuals, who followed his interests.

“I vividly remember the first person I collaborated with, ever since then I have collaborated with hundreds of people or working on animated projects (MAPs.)  I even got the opportunity for the YouTuber I admired at age 15 with half a million subscribers.”

In elementary school, Sebastian was labeled as the art kid. In middle school, it only grew with collaborations, and when he arrived in the animation industry and animating on his phone after inspiration from childhood YouTubers and shows.

In 6th grade, Sebastian made a YouTube channel, known as SebasToons. Formerly known for his videos, he arrived in the industry and switched in high school to “Sonic the Hedgehog” and general art. His most popular works were his Cuphead fan animations, “Get Madz” (as a freelance artist,) and “Sonic the Hedgehog” ranging from thousands to millions of views.

“Meeting people, making connections, a strong network I still talk to to this day. It exposed me to a real-life work pipeline that I would not have worked on otherwise. An early exposure, which was beneficial in the long run, on what I wanted to do.”

Sebastian progressed from middle school to high school when he took a break from storytime animation and focused on academics. While he was an artist, he wanted to make the best of his education and grow.

In 9th grade, he prided himself on his education after falling into social media. He was active on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. While he struggled over the years, he gained and lost many battles.

Sebastian, in 9th grade, was an officer for Key Club, as the leader of the multi-cultural committee for Key clubs end of year party. Directing people into making origami, through proper dedication and teachings.

In 12th grade, known as the activity chair in the art club, plans meetings and activities for the art club. In addition, he volunteered at an art museum and helped children learn how to make art. Done for passion, Sebastian was dedicated and loved to share the same passion he had at other children’s ages.

In 10th grade, he earned second place in Coral Glades at the literacy fair. In 11th grade, he participated in the literacy fair and got first place in coral glades and second place in the county.

“My recent accomplishments have not been an award or anything like that. However, on Twitter, I got thousands of views on my art and other social media platforms which were received positively. I’m planning on signing up for Google Doodle and the literacy fair and Broward College.”

Sebastian, like anyone, has his struggles. Yet, in times of struggle, he proves that by facing his fear he can make the impossible possible. Anyone can, all they have to do is believe, then live today to find their tomorrow, one day at a time.
