Fear is able to break or make a person. Whether it be as a little child or when you are an adult facing new challenges from growing older.
Fear is often placed to control others. Fear could be good at times, such as fear of danger, however, it could impact someone’s life forever.
Fear can have this power out of judgment. Judgment can make someone feel as though they can be who they are, for the better or worse.
As a result, such power could be good, however, in most scenarios, leads to endless heartbreak. One moment can lead down and destroy a person.
Those who hurt have power over the goodness in people’s lives. People who hurt are only those who have been hurt before.
A line of negativity that grows over time. As a result, people won’t be the same and will stop caring.
This heartbreak is located around the world, leading to the pain to destroy all. However, people all have a choice.
They can choose to make or break a cycle that may consume all. Those who show care and love to all around them are those who allow others to be happy.
In a world so full of judgment over everything, having a light that shines through the darkness can make people feel understood. Those who do not judge, make others feel as if they are being heard without being treated as though they are outsiders.
Those who do not judge, do so as it’s the right thing to do. They do not act as if they needed to or only did to feel appreciated, only to make themselves and others happy.
Everyone may feel judged, whether they are judgmental or are willing to hear others out. However, keeping an open and patient heart makes the lost become found. Those who are closed off, are those who were hurt and afraid of others.
Students feel as though judgment is normal when it couldn’t be further from the truth. Students express their struggle and time of judgment.
“The word judgment is a controversial topic. On one hand, people have the right to make judgments on what they want. But it depends on what and who you’re judging. Judging can be good, in a way. Judgment can be constructive criticism. But, it can also be used for ill intent. All in all, judgment is, it can used in a lot of ways and it can be used in a lot of ways, I don’t know how to describe it.” Gabrielle Pauling, a junior, tells of her mindset of judgment and how it can range in positive or negative ways.
“Honestly I think judgment is a silly concept. Why is it that I do something that affects me that changes you? Like there are so many other things I can do.” Xavier Valentino, a senior, mentions his thoughts on the concept of judgment.
However, fear isn’t the solution, everyone deserves a chance to be loved. All have the ability, all it must take is the ability to do the right thing. If all were to do so, would the world be so destroyed?
