The Panthers series is well on its way with the series being tied 2-2 and all of the scores have been high-scoring games with the first 3 being a total of 25 points scored between both teams, but something different happened in the 4th game with instead of it being an offense type of game it was more of a defense game with there the score only being 2-0 and the panthers winning. This was a very important win since it would tie up the series, sending Florida back to Canada, where the score was to be 3-1 with the Maple Leafs winning, Florida would have a lot of weight on them.
Junior Andrew Valdez says ‘’ Hopefully the Panthers can keep this winning streak going because I would love to see them go on a run again since I am a huge fan and I have been saving up a lot of money to go to a Stanley Cup finals game but firstly I need them to take care of business in the round which I have a lot of faith in them doing.”
One of the star players for the Panthers in the past game was Aaron Ekblad with an assist and a point and on the other side without a doubt, it was Joseph Woll though he let up two goals he had an amazing total of 35 saves when Sergei Bobrovsky only had 23 saves in the last game. The next game is today, 5/14/2025, in Toronto, so the Panthers will be battling the crowd to see if they can take a 3-2 lead in the series, forcing them one step closer to going to the next round of the playoffs.
Junior Cole Fisher says “This series has been really fun to watch Ii was pretty mad when the Panthers went down 2-0 in he first two games it did not really seem to me like they were playing their best, but Ii like it how these last two games they have stepped up there defense of game to lead to both wins.”
Freshman says Evan Tuonre, “I’m so happy for the Panthers winning their first series of the playoffs, now they are taking on the Maple Leafs and I hope they win, but so far they have been playing ok I think they need fight more so the games are more fun to watch”.
In conclusion, I think the series is going to be down to wire and possibly a game 7 hopefully the Florida Panthers can handle business and beat the Maple Leafs in the next 2 games winning 4 games in a brown sending them to the next round of the Stanley Cup with them having goals of winning it back to back.
