On August 15 and 16th of 2025, the popular artist known as The Weeknd performed live at the Hard Rock Stadium located in Miami, Florida, called  “After Hours Till Dawn.” He performed both nights after not performing for 3 years. Many fans were ecstatic due to this being the first time he had performed in Miami since 2022. The stadiums were booked out and filled to the very top both nights. The stadium holds about 65,000 people. People all around South Florida came to see the talented artist. On top of that, the beginning of the show started with the performance of the renowned artist, Playboy Carti. Many fans were ecstatic about this since both artists have a couple of well-known songs together.

A major surprise shocked all fans mid-way through the concert. The Weeknd brought out the known rapper, Future, as a surprise guest to perform the famous song “Low Life” together. Fans all across the stadium shouted as this was the only show The Weekend brought out Future. The Weeknd has been touring since May 2025. Most fans would say Miami had a special night.

Around 43 songs were played, not including the surprise songs played by the guest artists. The concert ran from around 7 to 11 pm. A cool surprise was that the stadium gave out light-up bracelets that were controlled by the stage, so they would turn different colors due to what song was playing or flash depending on the beat. This was also a take-home bracelet, where a lot of people would take the bracelet apart and turn it into a keychain. Merchandise was available for purchase before and after the concert. The merch included hoodies, shirts, and hats. Many fans were bittersweet about the concert since this is the last concert The Weeknd would be performing under that name. Back in January, when he released his album “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” he announced he would be retiring from The Weeknd. He says he will still make music under his real name, Abel Tesfaye. Fans are feeling sentimental about this chapter closing but excited to see what comes next.

To get the inside scoop on how some fans felt towards the concert, we interviewed sophomore Emmanuel Castillo, who went to the concert and experienced all the night had to offer. He said “ The concert was fun, I mostly went to see Playboy Carti because I’m a huge fan. I even have the concert photo of him on my phone screen but the overall vibe was amazing. The lights and singing were beautiful. ” He expressed that the night was one he would never forget. To get another perspective, we interviewed 18 year old Nadia Bissoondial, who went on Friday, August 15th. She said, “ The concert was everything. I’ve been a fan since the beginning of high school, and to see him perform live was such a blessing. His voice was angelic, and he played my favorite song called “The Morning,” which made the night even better.” Overall, it seemed like the concert was a night to remember for all and left everyone leaving with an even bigger smile than the one they had walking in.
