Yet another one of the “Big Four” fashion weeks has officially started this week and is already making such a drastic impact in the fashion world. Paris Fashion Week is the final stop after New York, London, and Milan. The show started on September 29, 2025, and will end on October 7, 2025. This week will showcase many various fashion collections from Chanel to Dior, Saint Laurent to Louis Vuitton. As I mentioned in the previous article, each week is supposed to showcase the Spring 2026 collections, which are the collections I listed previously. Paris Fashion Week is expected to attract many major fashion houses and talents this week.
Now, let’s get into Paris’ theme, their theme is elegance and contemporary outerwear. This features trends such as contemporary capes, belted leather trenches, and statement fur scarves. All designers will emphasize sophisticated tailoring and take inspiration from fashion history. These include references to Elizabethan-era collars and skinny-fit pants.
Additionally, let’s get into their schedule, starting with day 1, September 29, the first show will be at 12:30 pm with the Paris fashion designer, Weinsanto. Then, the last show of the day will be at 8:00 pm. The next day, September 30, will be opening with Mame Kurogouchi at 9:30 am. Then, close with Stella McCartney at 8:00 pm. This is just a sneak peek into this week’s schedule, which is packed with around 9-15 shows a day.
And, of course, we cannot forget about the celebrities making their iconic appearance throughout the week. Let’s start with Emma Stone and Zendaya. They were both seen at the Louis Vuitton show as they showcased chic and elegant outfits. The next celebrity to make an appearance was Canadian-American actress and model Pamela Anderson, who made headlines with her new copper hairstyle as she attended the Tom Ford and Mugler shows. Lastly, FKA twigs and Ariana Greenblatt were spotted at various shows, adding to the event’s glamour and popularity.
These next celebrities not only attended the shows but, walked and showed up and showed out as they embodied the theme of “Liberty, Equality, Sisterhood” for the L’Oreal Paris show. These celebrities include Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, and Andie MacDowell.
Lastly, let’s get some opinions on the show from some students at my school, Coral Glades High.
Sophomore Zoe Wilson quotes, “To a certain degree, I can see that there’s a pattern, but overall, since the theme is elegance and contemporary outerwear, fashion is supposed to be elegant. It just doesn’t give contemporary, it just gives elegance. It’s good, though.”Then, freshman Valentina Soto quotes that, “All of the clothes were well designed.”.
