Senior Year Step Up

Senior+Year+Step+Up

Seniors played a big part. in my high school year because I got to hang out with them outside of school, and they helped show me what colleges to apply to and what to look for in one. I’m so sad they have to leave, but I am happy for them because they don’t have to go to prison every day anymore and they can have the freedom to do whatever they want. I just hope they stay safe because the people I know are going to do whatever they want just because they feel
like it was an era full of laughs, stories, and friendship that came to an end with the seniors leaving. They have been a vital part of our high school experience, so their absence will leave a void in my social circle. It also represents a fresh start for them as they open a new chapter in their lives that will undoubtedly present both opportunities and difficulties.
The best part about having senior friends was hanging out with them because I was able to go into their classes and relax. After all, they barely did any work.
The interaction with them is always good, for the most part, because they act more mature. I can’t speak for all of them, though.
For the last summer, I’ve been feeling great. I will be working out and saving to buy a car, deciding what school I will go to, going to all the events my friends plan, and whatever party is going on at the time. I just want to have fun.
I will be doing other things, like traveling and exploring the city, because I never got the chance to since I moved here in the middle of the year.
Overall, junior year was good. It had its ups and downs, but in the end, it was fun. The worst part about it was testing because of all the studying I had to do, but all the studying helped me pass them, so it was worth it. The best part was the pep rally because I got to see all my friends at once, one last time. For me, making friends was not hard; mostly everyone here was nice, so I just clicked.
For the sophomores becoming juniors, my advice is to keep your grades up the best you can because this is an important year, and just make friends with teachers and administrators so you can have access to resources. Other people don’t also stop fighting because it’s not worth it anymore.
I’m excited to become a senior because it’s the last year, and the work is going to be easier because I will have fewer core classes. Hopefully, I will have my car by then so I can drive to school. I hope I stay in this school so I can graduate with my friends. It has been a great year and I hope to see you all next year.
