I asked Coral Glades High School students what their favorite places are. What are students’ favorite places to hang out, to eat, or just their favorite place in general? We have all been bored at one point or another and had no clue what to do. Well, throughout this article we will dive into the top 3 places in each category:

The best local places within the Coral Springs area according to the student body of Coral Glades High School.
Everyone loves food, whether it’s enjoying it with friends or family, the flavors, or even the creativity you can use when making a dish. So, with this, we are going to take a look at the top 3 favorite restaurants and food places according to students.
Place # 1 Chick-fil-A – 1341 N University Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33071, Chick-Fil-A is a chain restaurant that has become very famous for its chicken sandwiches.
Why do the students love this place? Well…
Janet Chung, the Freshman, said “The sauce and the fires are the best.”
Jenna Dellcioppia, Freshman, says, “The chicken sandwich is amazing.”
Place # 2 Chipotle – 1775 N University Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33071, Chipotle is a chain restaurant that serves different kinds of bowls.
People love this place, Chloe Tod, Freshman, says, “It’s always fresh and I love the flavors.”
Place # 3 Huey Magoo’s – 9216 Wiles Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33067, Huey Magoo’s is famous for their chicken and sauces.
Madison Santiago, Freshman, loves this place because, “They have the best bread, chicken, and dip.”
These are your top 3 places to eat in the Coral Springs area according to the CGHS students. With that, we move on to our top 3 places to “hang out”:
Spending time with your friends is important not just for your social life but also for your mental health. So here are some great places for you and your friends to check out.
Place # 1 Mullins Park– 10000 Ben Geiger Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33065, Mullins park is a 62-acre recreational area that has different sports courts and playground areas.
Reasons that students love this place are:
“I love playing soccer with my friends.” Gabrielle Suarez, Freshman.
“I love being outdoors and running around with my siblings.” Kimberly Joseph, Freshman.
Place # 2 The Coral Square Mall – 9469 W Atlantic Blvd, Coral Springs, FL 33071, The coral square mall is a popular place with a ton of shops and places to check out.
“I get to walk around.” Madison Santiago, Freshman.
“I just love the stores.” Janet Chung, Freshman.
Place # 3 – The Regal Magnolia Cinemas, 9645 Westview Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33076, this is a spacious movie theater with many screens.
“The movies are entertaining.” Brandon Gomez, Freshman.
These are the favorite hangout spots of CGHS students. Finally, we move onto the last but not least category, Students’ favorite places in general. Where they want to be, where they like to spend time, the place they love the most. We will be looking at 3 different locations right here in Coral Springs.
Place # 1 Home – Most of the people that I asked said that they love their home the most.

“I like spending time with my family.” Chloe Todd, Freshman.
Place # 2 In bed – The second place that students love the most is being in their bed.
“I like to sleep and it’s comfy.” Madison Santiago, Freshman.
“Convenient and comfy, I love it.” Kimberly Joseph, Freshman.
Place # 3 The mall – The last place that students like to spend time is the mall.
“The food and the store are awesome.” Jenna Dellcioppa, Freshman.
“It’s really cool.” Brandon Gomez, Freshman.
Overall, there were a plethora of great places on this list, so next time you and your friends or family have extra time on your hands or don’t know what to do try checking out one of these local gems.
